Weekend Recap
I’m sitting by the window at the Detroit Airport, listening to MGMT. Just gazed to my left and there are two black birds, one is trying to make love to the other. It’s not going so well. What are those things called that you walk through to get to the plane? Whenever I see one without a plane attached, I always think of that scene in Dumb & Dumber. It was a great weekend at home. Here are the highlights: BBQ, driving range, dog walk, dip n’ dots, nap on couch, relaxation on front porch, neighbor’s puppies, sun, go-kart races, target run, us open, nap on couch, quizno’s. I filmed the whole thing, from my flight out of new york and will finish up on my cab back into the city tonight. I’m already floored with the quality of video my new camera takes. I find myself being more creative and trying new things, it feels really good to get that side of my brain working again.
Everyone around me is getting up, but I know our flight doesn’t board for a half hour. Mob-mentality. I refuse to play that game. Oh my bad. Okay time to board.
